Purpose & Vision of Life !!!

Why goals are important in your life ?? Why you must now the purpose of your life ?? Why you should have clear vision or directions of your goals ??? Why a person should know what is his/her destination and so on .. the related questions about your life that comes into your mind.

If you did not know your destination or the directions, the journey becomes difficult. You would be at the mercy of people who might not themselves know right directions and you might reach somewhere where you did not want to be. The same way, you must know your destination as well as directions before starting the journey of life. If you did not know it yourself, you would consume yourself and end your journey with frustration without reaching at your destination or you might reach at  some unknown place. Don't just follow the crowd, know the purpose of life.

When thou dost follow up the vices of (thy) people, thou will bring ruin.(Bayhaqiy)
It means >>>

• We are the vicegerents of God on this earth. The closest meaning of word "vicegerent" in the English language is "deputy". Do you appoint someone as your deputy without any purpose ?

Behold, thy Lord said to the angels: "i will create a vicegerent on earth." They said: "Will thou place therein one who will make mischief therein and shed blood?- whilst we do celebrate Thy praise and glorify Thy holy (name)?" He said: "I know what ye know not". (2:30)
It is He Who hath made you (His) Agents, inheritors of the earth: He hath raised you in ranks, some above others: that He may try you in the gifts He hath given you: for thy Lord is quick in punishment: yet He is indeed Oft-forgiving, Most Merciful. (6:165)

• If you cannot imagine appointing one deputy without a purpose or a task how could God appoint billions of them without a purpose? Unless the purpose for the creation of mankind is understood, it is almost certain that we will go wrong. 

Not without purpose did We create heaven and earth and all between! That were the thought of unbelievers! but because of the Fire (of Hell)! (38:27)

Does man think that he will be left uncontrolled, (without purpose). (75:36)

• We appoint a deputy to help us in the performance of our duties, to serve us. If it is true, why is it difficult to understand that God has also appointed us as His deputies to serve Him.  

I have only created Jinns and men, that they may serve Me. (51:56)
jinns means (spirits)..

• We were not created only for worshiping God. Worshiping is a mean towards the end not the end by itself. If worshiping was the meaning of "serving", as it is generally understood, there was no need for the creation of mankind as this work was and is still being performed by millions of other creatures day and nights. 

Seest thou not that to God bow down in worship all things that are in the heavens and on earth, - the sun, the moon, the stars; the hill, the tree, the animals; and a great number among mankind? But a great number are (also) such as are fit for Punishment: and such as God shall disgrace,- None can raise to honor: for God carries out all that He wills (22:18)

Seest thou not that it is God Whose praise all beings in the heavens and on earth do celebrate, and the birds (of the air) with wings outspread? Each one knows its own (mode of) prayer and praise. And God knows well all that they do. (24:41)
To Him belong all (creatures) in the heavens and on earth: Even those who are in His (very) Presence are not too proud to serve Him, nor do they (ever) weary (of His service) They celebrate His praise night and day, nor do they ever flag or intermit. (21:19-20)
And to God doth obeisance all that is in the heavens and on earth, whether moving (living) creatures or the angels: for none are arrogant (before their Lord). (16:49)

• God has given us a special purpose to pursue. The life purpose of human being is to serve the God, through serving the mankind. The humankind was created to serve each other to improve the quality of life of each other, i.e. doing good themselves and persuading others for good works. This is our main responsibility as deputes of God in this world. If you don't serve others, you will never be served. If you live your life with this purpose, everything you do all day long becomes worship. For example if you eat and go to sleep because if you did not nourish and rest your body and hence fell ill, you would not be able to serve the purpose of life, fully, then even eating and sleeping becomes worship.

By the declining day, Lo! man is in a state of loss, save those who believe and do good works, and exhort one another to truth and exhort one another to endurance.. (103:1-3)

• Would you be pleased with a deputy who does not do the work given to him/her and instead continues praising you all day long? How could God be ?

It is not righteousness that ye turn faces Towards east or West; but it is righteousness- to believe in God and the Last Day.
